Horses speak the language of embodiment: congruency of intention and expression.
We can’t talk about what we embody; we can’t intellectualize it; we can’t even visualize it. Embodiment is a practice, and only by engaging in the practice can you surface the ways in which your body expresses its wounds and joys; its limiting beliefs and strengths; its stories and its history. We greet and acknowledge those parts of ourselves, then we practice expanding beyond residual patterns and limitations into expression aligned with what serves us now. This is the work at the heart of Equine-Guided Empowerment® through Somatic Reprogramming®. The free-roaming herd of horses are our guides. They provide guidance, non-personal feedback, mirror where we are at in each given moment, and hold space for our return to self and our felt sense of innate wellbeing.
