Embodied Horsewomanship® — A Transformational Weekend Experience
May 31 & June 1: 10am to 4pm
€400.00 | US$433.00
Step into the world of Embodied Horsewomanship with Cassandra Ogier and Amanda Gentine of Homeward, for a powerful two-day immersion designed to deepen your connection with horses and yourself, through the free spirit of the herd. Whether you're new to The Reflective Horse® philosophy or seeking to enrich your understanding after the online course, this in-person experience offers a transformative journey into embodied awareness and relational horsewomanship.
In this time of great change, we are being called to embody truth and take courageous steps to stand in solidarity, sovereignty and freedom in the world.
Through Equine Guided Empowerment® and Somatic Reprogramming®, you will explore the self-honoring, intuitive energy of the herd and embody the innate qualities of the Lead Mare, learning how to cultivate presence, authentic connection, and experience embodied transformation—on personal, relational, and spiritual levels through leadership based in feminine principles.
Set in the stunning natural sanctuary of Homeward, Portugal with the free-roaming herd, this weekend provides an opportunity to slow down, listen deeply, and reconnect with yourself, your inner knowing, and the horses who will guide your journey.
Who is this for?
Those curious to explore TRH philosophy and practices in a live, experiential setting.
Anyone seeking personal transformation, embodied connection, and somatic awareness through the wisdom of free-roaming horses.
This experience is open to all genders. While traditional horsemanship has long explored the stallion and masculine principles, Horsewomanship invites everyone—including men—to explore the relational, inclusive and intuitive feminine principles in partnership with horses.
Participants of the Embodied Horsewomanship online course looking for an introduction to deepen their learning through hands-on practice.
No horse-riding is involved, and no prior experience with horses is necessary—just an open mind and heart.
Spaces are limited for this intimate immersive weekend. Reserve your spot today and experience the transformative power of embodied horse-herd wisdom.
Introduction to Equine-Guided Empowerment®
Wednesday, April 23, 2025: 9am to 4pm (with an hour for lunch)
€175 (includes IVA)
Limited to 6 participants
If you are curious about embodiment work, drawn to horses, beginning or deepening your healing practice, and want to spend a Saturday in nature with the herd, please join me in this 1-day Introduction to Equine-Guided Empowerment® and Somatic Reprogramming®.
Horses speak the language of embodiment: congruency of intention and expression.
We can’t talk about what we embody; we can’t intellectualize it; we can’t even visualize it. Embodiment is a practice, and only by engaging in the practice can you surface the ways in which your body expresses its wounds and joys; its limiting beliefs and strengths; its stories and its history. We greet and acknowledge those parts of ourselves, then we practice expanding beyond residual patterns and limitations into expression aligned with what serves us now. This is the work at the heart of Equine-Guided Empowerment® through Somatic Reprogramming®. The free-roaming herd of horses are our guides. They provide non-personal feedback, mirror where we are at in each given moment, and hold space for our return to self and our felt sense of innate wellbeing.
Homeward Collective: Embodied work with horses through Trust and Connection
Modules 1 and 2 currently in session.
New sessions of all modules starting in May!
For anyone who enjoys being with horses but doesn’t align with the approach or methods of most riding schools. For those who have been in connection with horses in the past, as a child or adult, and want to reconnect and learn in a supportive, natural environment where you are an active partner in building your awareness and confidence with horses.
In these small group cohorts you will work with horses through the lens of trust and connection, not control or dominance.
The arc of learning consists of 3 Modules; each module consists of 6 weekly sessions (2 hours each). Participants start with Module 1 and upon completion can opt to continue to the next modules.
Module 1: Safety, Agency, and Choice
In the first module you will learn how to safely be with the herd in freedom; hold ground and embody a clear "yes" and "no"; practice making requests and honoring consent; learn how to be a sturdy and trustworthy leader; and care for the horses in a way that honors their dignity and agency.
Module 2: Trust and Communication
In the second module you will build upon the skills of Module 1, moving into the realm of trust and clear, consistent communication. We will practice leading outside of the farm, learn beginning groundwork skills, and, if horse and human are ready, supported bareback riding on the lead.
Module 3: Partnership and Attunement (includes groundwork, supported riding, and independent riding for those ready)
€300 per module (12 hours)
4 participant limit per cohort
