For any of you who enjoy being with horses but don't align with the approach or methods of most riding schools. For those who have been in connection with horses in the past, as a child or adult, and want to reconnect and learn in a supportive, natural environment where you are an active partner in building your awareness and confidence with horses.

In these small group cohorts you will work with horses through the lens of trust and connection, not control or dominance.

The arc of learning consists of 3 Modules; each module consists of 6 weekly sessions (2 hours each). Participants start with Module 1 and upon completion can opt to continue to the next modules.

Module 1: Safety, Agency, and Choice

Module 2: Trust and Communication (includes groundwork and supported riding)

Module 3: Partnership and Attunement (includes groundwork, supported riding, and independent riding for those ready)

In the first module you will learn how to safely be with the herd in freedom; hold ground and embody a clear "yes" and "no"; practice making requests and honoring consent; learn how to be a sturdy and trustworthy leader; and care for the horses in a way that honors their dignity and agency.
